R32 Driver Door Handle Wont Open

Replace the door handle and problem solved or you can pull the door apart which you will have to do anyways and clean it.

If not then take the inside handle off and just pull the actual cable. If you need to get in just push in on the door a little and pull the handle at the same time. No where will you find this information on the web. I m thinking on the right track with the latch mechanism.

I tested the switches in the handle it self. To be fair if its a cable problem then the handle from the inside outside will just flap around. If i am inside the car it will open but nothing from the outside. Now the driver side door won t open from outside the car.

When i go to open from the outside everything unlocks but the driver door won t open. If nothing happens when you turn the knob it s usually because the set screw holding the knob to the rod has worked itself loose. If i lock then car using key fob and open the door the alarm goes off.

Should open right up then. Could also be the outside handle. The drivers door won t lock using the key fob but if i use the blade it will lock fine. It won t open no matter what i do less the key and inner handle.

Believe me i looked for days wh. I tried taking the plastic piece off of handle and using the plastic key from the fob but it didnt work. So i think the other day that while i was unlocking my car doors i started pulling on the handle as i was unlocking the doors. If the bolt moves but not enough to allow the door to open the.
